THE DIAL: 100% mint, the enamel dial with with black Roman numerals and in bright condition with no hairlines or chips and signed Waltham. The dial with blued steel hands. The diameter is 42 mm . The crystal is also in excellent condition and retained securely.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with a 3/4 damasced plate and a regulator, and blued screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with Breguet hairspring and lever escapement. The movement overall of very good quality, with a cut-away plate and 17 jewels . The watch ticking away on my desk as I type this, and keeping reasonable time for a 100 year old watch. The movement a Waltham 625 calibre.
THE CASE: 95% mint, the 14k gold filled case measures an impressive 50mm. The front and rear covers close tightly. The rear cover in fine condition with minor wear marks to case band, with Keystone Watch Company marks. This is a high quality watch, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition and of jewel like quality. The watch comes with a period watch display box
The pictures show minor reflections and various dark marks, these are an artefact from the lighting and are not present in the watch case.
This is a very fine period watch in simply stunning condition, which is a very rare collectable item or a possible investment for the future or of course a fine gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding etc.
