The Wireless Siren Control Panel:
The panel is powered by a plug in 3-pin transformer and has a built in adjustable Siren & Blue Flashing LED, the Siren has 32 different Tones to choose from, ensuring you can select one that will easily be noticed in your given environment, the Volume can also be turned down from the maximum 106 Decibel to zero, and because of the choice of tones it can be set to suit nearly all office applications.
The operating range between the Wireless Panic Button & Control Box is 300 metres (line of sight) which would equate to around 100 metres in most commercial locations, this is greatly increased to 1200 metre (line of sight) by the Wireless Signal Repeatersupplied.
Operation:
In the event of a Panic Button being activated, the Siren & Flashing Strobe will operate for 5 minutes (can be programmed for less) or until the power has been turned OFF & ON.
Additional Siren Boxes:
You can add additional Siren Control Boxes (no limit) to your SOS Wireless Panic Alarm to suit your application, each Siren Box has the adjustable Siren allowing each one to be set to suit each location.
It is also possible to connect a wired Satellite Siren & Flashing Strobe Boxes to these Boxes for applications where rooms may be back to back
Signal Repeater:
The Wireless Signal Repeater is powered by a 3-pin plug in Transformer, the operating range back to the Siren Control Box is an impressive 900 metres (line of sight), the Panic Button has a 300 metre (line of sight) range to this Repeater.
It would be located into the most logical location between the Panic Button & Siren Box to increase range or to help transmission through thick walls.
Installation:
These SB SOS Alarm Siren Panels are designed for easy installation, they will be fully prepare before despatch, all the customer needs to do is:
- Mount the Control Box (handy lugs for easy & quick fitting).
- Code the Box to the Panic Buttons if adding to an existing system (new systems would be done before despatch).
- Power the Control Box.
- Choose the Siren Tone & Volume (simple and quick adjustments).
- Mount the Signal Repeater.
- Test.
