Bound in the publishers original burlap binding.
Inscribed by the author to a friend and classmate - "another 99er", C. Huntington. Bigelow writes Trusting what be is first guessing through the "sea of life", and then goes on to mention shared places of interest, including the Weld Boat Club at their Alma Mater, Harvard. Dated 1938 at Glen Burnie, Bigelows Virginia home.
Flying Feathers is a collection of nineteen hunting tales, depicting adventures in the forests and fields of Pennsylvania, Virginia and South Carolina.
Written by Horatio Bigelow, with an introduction Archibald Rutledge.
Illustrated with twelve photographs, including illustrated endpapers. Collated, complete.
CONDITION
Bound in the publishers original burlap binding. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing to the extremities and the odd mark. Spine label is lifting a little. Front hinge is a touch strained, but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Authors ink inscription to half title.
